Why does your cat's tongue feel like sandpaper?

This was published on kiwi kids news on March the 8 2018

This is not self-admiration. For cats staying clean is a matter of life and death. Their tongue is especially equipped for the job, its just one of the things that make cats such successful predators.

You can watch a video if you click on this link: https://kidsvids.co.nz/cats-tongue-feel-like-sandpaper/

I found this very interesting.

Selfies makes your nose look bigger.

A new study has found that selfies make your nose bigger than they are. The study found that most selfies made noses look 30% bigger than they really are. The study titled "Nasal Distortion in Short-Distance Photographs: The Selfie Effect" they say that angled self-portraits are leading more people to request nose jobs for better selfies.

Plastic surgeons have back up the study. In 2017, 55% of facial plastic surgeons reported seeing patients who want to look better in selfies. That marked an increase of 13% from the prior year.

Sink bug invading New Zealand

Brown stink bugs are invading New Zealand over 100 of them were found 2 weeks ago they were found in 3 car carriers these ships arrived from Japan.

The stink bugs have the ability to destroy New Zealand fruits and vegetals and wine industries. Experts believe that if the bugs continue to live in New Zealand it will cost around $4 billion.

Stink bugs are a stinking insect. It can cause public damage to fruit and vegetable crops. Stink bugs are harmless to humans. The stink bug uses its stink to protect its self from birds and lizards. However, by holding it injuring it or even trying to move it, it will release the stinking smell.

I think this is very bad because if New Zealand becomes there home NZ will lose money trying to get rid of them. To me, it means that we will not have many NZ fruit vegetable or wine products.
